I just finished planting my Marie Gold flower seedlings. This morning mum woke me up at nine to go to Flower Power and buy the seedlings for my Student Research Project. I think my mother's more worried about it than I am. Well anyway's, I bought 30 Marie Gold Flower seedlings; 9 which will be fertilised with Instant-Gro All Purpose Compund Fertiliser, another 9 which will be fertlised with Hortico Aquasol Fertiliser, and 9 as the control which will be given water only. 3 of each will be placed in different locations: the backyard in complete sunlight, the bathroom where there is medium sunlight and the cupboard where there is no light.
I've measured their heights and will continue to measure how much they grow every 3 days. I planted the seedlings one centimetre above the bottom of the plastic cups so that there is enough room for their roots to spread. Each of the plant's have a different height so to keep track of which one is which, I've numbered them ! To start off, I gave each plant 5mls of water. 9 of the plant's were given 3g of Instant-Gro All Purpose Compund Fertiliser each and another 9 were given the same measurement.
Now that's done, I guess I'll just have to wait and see which one grows the best ! :)
