The beginning .

I've started my new experiment ! Well, i've got everything ready to go at least.

I've got different brands of nailpolish and painted one layer of them on a plastic sleeve. There's four of them and each one will be placed in different substances and positions.

First one- the backyard where it will be exposed to rain and sunlight
Second one- mould remover
Third one- acetone
Fourth one- in olive oil

I'll observe and record results at the end of each week. Hopefully my guess that the nailpolish in the acetone will disappear first, is right.

A new start :)

I've decided to change my experiment from growing plant's.. to testing which nailpolish brand last's longer ! Yay ! This is actually going to benefit my friends and I in some way as now we'll know which nailpolish brand to buy and which NOT to buy.

Tomorow I will hit the shops to buy some nailpolish and nails to test them on. Also, my experiment has been APPROVED :)

New experiment ?

Okay so it's the last day of holidays today and i think that my plant experiment was absolutely terrible. I'm going to have to decide on something else to do. I was thinking of maybe doing something which tested which brand of nailpolish is the best. I was going to get fake nails and many different brands of nailpolish, then keep them in different enviornments and analyse which brand of nailpolish lasted longer on nails.

I would treat the nails as though they were on an actual hand; this includes washing them in soap and water. Hopefully this experiment will go much better than my plant one. Although before I start, I will need to ask Ms Zhang for permission :)

RIP Plants .

My plants are officially dead. I think I'm going to re-do the experiment or maybe choose something different to do. My spare fridge has been taken over by gross fungus. My mum is going to kill me. Ah well, such is science.
